Specialized Translation Center-STC is a private enterprise undertaking translation assignments from/into Arabic in several fields, in addition to delivering a wide variety of linguistic services and editing reference books and lexicons.
 

Situated in Damascus- Syria, the Specialized Translation Center-STC was launched in spring 2004. After several years of functioning on an individual basis at first, and on the basis of team work afterwards, the STC was launched to ensure capability of better response to the ever growing demand for our distinguished services, while continuously upgrading quality of these services in order to sustain satisfaction of clients from all sectors.

Quality control methodology in the Specialized Translation Center-STC covers all aspects of the assignment, from request to delivery. We begin with an assessment study to specify the time required and to choose the most qualified translator(s). Then we allocate specific partial assignments to translators. Next, a revision of the translation is undertaken by a single specialist in the topic of the text being translated, followed by re-editing and linguistic revision, layout and formatting of the document(s) and finally, we conduct a final revision to ascertain that the whole work meets our high quality standards.
